Yes, jargon can be obnoxious & exclusionary. But inventing a term for an idea can make it more memorable / powerful. @gridshow @andymangold

@simm_todd oh yeah I’m on board with linguistic relativity. I just think there is a time and a place to use these new terms.
@simm_todd (I do think many of them don’t actually represent a new idea, just tech pretending they invented something that already existed)
