I also liked @WalterIsaacson‘s overall message about innovation being a team sport + the importance of building on existing technologies.

My favorite parts are the beginning (Ada Lovelace & Babbage) and the last 1/3 (’60s counterculture, PC industry, the internet, and wrap-up).

The middle part of the book (about the invention of transistors, integrated circuits, and other hardware) was a little slow for me.
